Rope Access Contractors Ltd has worked in the rope access industry for over 25 years. We have recently had a purpose built training facility constructed at our Bristol head office to offer IRATA training courses to all levels.

The new facility covers all aspects of the syllabus, using the experience of IRATA auditors, assessors and trainers for assistance on the design. All the equipment you will use is brand new and the latest products available to the industrial roped access market.

Rope access as a means of access was born from caving and climbing techniques. Developed by IRATA it has now come to be used in a wide range of repair, maintenance, inspection and access work. Since it provides an unrivalled safety record, a quick set-up and dismantling time, positive environmental benefits and no need for invasive access equipment or disruption of the site, the IRATA system of rope access continues to enjoy increasing popularity throughout the world.

All IRATA courses we provide are in small groups with an instructor who will deliver the IRATA syllabus of your particular level from a complete novice level 1 entry into the world of rope access to a vastly experienced level 3 revalidating his qualification.

Whatever level of training you require it is our goal to provide a professional informative course giving every candidate the time and guidance required to not only practically satisfy the syllabus but to also technically understand the requirements. Most importantly we want the experience we provide to be enjoyable.

Every candidate level 1,2,3 and revalidations will have 4 days of training from an IRATA trainer before being assessed by an external IRATA assessor on day 5.
